Q. Are you experienced with Satellite Systems?
A.
I have been installing, repairing and adjusting them since they first hit the market.

Q. What brand of antenna do you sell and why?
A. I sell and reccomend Winegard Antennas. They are triple anodized, the connections are in a weather resistant housing, they are 75ohm antennas, not 300ohm with an external transformer and they are manufactured in the USA.

Q. How much do antennas cost?
A. They range from $135 to $200 plus mounting hardware, tax and installation labor.

Q. Do you stock LCD/DLP lamps?
A. Yes, I stock Philips/OSRAM lamps. Philips/OSRAM is a prime manufacturer of most of the lamps produced. Call for pricing and availability.

Q. Do your lamps include the housing?
A. No. Lamps with housings cost $30 to $50 more. Why would you want to spend more money to buy a housing when you already have a good one.

Q. Can I replace my own lamp?
A. Yes, if you have the manual with instructions and are handy with tools and somewhat knowledgeable about electronics. Some TV's require the lamp timer to be reset and some housings may need to be modified.

Q. Will you install a new lamp in my old housing?
A. Yes, if you bring your old housing to me I would be happy to install the new lamp.

Q. Will you install a new lamp in my home?
A. Yes, the trip to your house and the 1st half hour of labor within 15 miles from my shop is $75 and any time after the 1st half hour will be billed at $80/hour in quarter hour segments.

Q. Do you ever sell used equipment?
A.
Yes, I do have a small inventory of TVs, VCRs and DVD systems.

Q. Are DVD and CD players worth repairing?
A.
Not usually. Most are cheaper to replace. However, I do repair VCRs as they are not easily replaced as a single unit anymore.

Q. How long does the average repair take?
A.
Repairs average 1-5 days depending on part availability.

Q. My TV is 10 years old. Is it worth repairing?
A.
Most TVs less than 10 years old are worth fixing, Bring it and have it checked out. My consultation fee is $35.00, which will be applied to any repair.

Q. How much is Pick Up and Delivery?
A.
Pick up and delivery is $75 within a 15 mile radius of the shop.

Q. Do you service Plasma or LCD TVs?
A.
Not yet. Coming soon!
